Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your first name, last name, email address and message, plus your company, job title and country if you choose to give them. Nothing is collected from you anywhere else on this site.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use those details for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where your message is not about working together, it is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, under Article 6(1)(f).

Who else sees it

Four service providers process data on our behalf, under contract, and may not use it for their own purposes:

Formward

Receives contact form submissions and delivers them to us.

Vercel

Hosts this website and serves its pages.

Umami

Counts page views for us, without cookies or individual profiles.

Email provider

Hosts our mailbox and stores our email correspondence.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where your data is transferred there, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages sent through the form reach us by email. Our form provider deletes its own copy automatically after 30 days. We keep our email correspondence with you no longer than necessary, and at most 24 months after your last message. If your enquiry becomes an engagement, the correspondence is kept for as long as our accounting obligations require.

Analytics

We use Umami to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not track you between sites and produces aggregate figures only, never a profile of you. This is why the site has no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to our using it, and you can ask for it in a portable format. Send your request to contact@scopos-conseil.com.

If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
